About Lalanya
Hi, I’m Lalanya, designer and maker of all the things you see here. Born on Earth Day. Lover of nature, cozy and soaking up time with my family and friends.
As a lifelong creative with an eye for repurposing, I challenged myself to create wearable art using upcycled materials. When I learned that the excess of clothing on our planet right now is enough to clothe the next six generations, I was inspired to make this more than a hobby. By giving discarded textiles a second life, we not only keep them from becoming landfill, we also decrease the need for new material to be made. A win for the planet indeed.

All of my materials are secondhand and from a variety of locations. Primarily I find things at local thrift stores, yard sales and donations from friends and family. Sometimes I have luck with online secondhand sites or local online marketplaces. My local secondhand craft store is also a great place to source materials.

At this point I don’t have a system set up for taking custom orders though I am open to the possibility. So whether you’re looking for a set of coordinating neckerchiefs for bridal party gifts, or would like to inquire about choosing your own color palette for a chore coat, please send me a note through the contact me form and I’ll be in touch about what we can cook up together.

Typically orders will ship out in a day or two and depending on the shipping method you choose, they will arrive accordingly.
If you ordered a vintage military shirt and are having a custom name/word embroidered on it, please allow an additional 2-4 days for the item to be shipped.
For rushed orders or local pick up, please reach out ahead of time and I will try my best to accommodate your request. Additional shipping fees may apply.

Most of what I make is sold online through this website. I do sell at local markets too, primarily during the fall and holiday season.
